Job Title: Technical Specialist

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Reports To: Head of Technical Services

Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve technical goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: This includes identifying and resolving problems with IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to customers and users: This includes answering questions, providing guidance, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain and update IT systems and infrastructure: This includes installing software updates, performing backups, and ensuring that systems are up and running.
  • Other duties as assigned: This may include developing new technical solutions or participating in training sessions.




Skills:

  • Strong technical skills: This includes having a deep understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: This includes being able to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills: This includes being able to communicate effectively with customers, users, and other technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: This includes being able to work independently to troubleshoot problems, as well as work as part of a team to implement technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field: This is preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role: This is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: This is required.
