Job Title: Online Tutor

Location: Remote

Reports To: Head of Tutoring

Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Online Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the subject matter they will be tutoring, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with students online. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve tutoring goals.

Responsibilities:

• Tutor students online: This includes providing instruction, answering questions, and reviewing student work.
• Create and deliver engaging lessons: This includes using a variety of teaching methods and resources to keep students engaged.
• Track student progress: This includes monitoring student performance and providing feedback.
• Other duties as assigned: This may include developing new lesson plans or participating in training sessions.

• Strong subject knowledge: This includes having a deep understanding of the subject matter they will be tutoring.
• Excellent communication skills: This includes being able to communicate effectively with students of all ages and abilities.
• Tech-savvy: This includes being comfortable using online teaching platforms and tools.
• Patience: This includes being able to work with students who may be struggling with the material.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field: This is preferred, but not required.
• 1+ years of experience in tutoring: This is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in the use of online teaching platforms: This is required.
