Job Title: Purchasing Staff

Reports To: Purchasing Manager

Summary:

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager in the procurement of goods and services for Blue Dart Express. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process.

• Sourcing suppliers and developing relationships with vendors.
• Negotiating contracts and ensuring that they are in the best interests of Blue Dart Express.
• Managing the procurement process from start to finish.
• Maintaining records of all procurement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with procurement software is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a procurement role.
• Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus.
