Job Description:
In this role, you will provide technical support for Amazon employees. You will be the first point of contact for resolving any computer or software issues. Your main job is to ensure that employees can work without technical problems. You will troubleshoot issues and help employees get back to their work quickly.
As a Desktop Support specialist, you will need to handle software and hardware issues, configure computers, and maintain IT systems. You will be required to work with a team to ensure that problems are solved efficiently. This is a remote position, so you will work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Help employees with computer issues and software problems.
- Troubleshoot and fix technical problems.
- Install and update software and systems.
- Answer questions and provide support through chat, email, or calls.
- Maintain and update computer systems regularly.
- Work closely with the IT team to resolve complex issues.
- Help with setting up new employees with their devices.
- Provide clear instructions to employees on how to use software.
- Track and manage issues in the support system.
- Ensure all technical issues are solved in a timely manner.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to learn new systems and tools fast.
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems is a plus.
- Understanding of networking and hardware components.
- Patience to assist others with technical issues.
Qualifications:
- 10th Pass, 12th Pass, or any Graduate.
- Any IT certifications or training will be a plus.
- Must be willing to learn and grow in the field.
- Good knowledge of basic troubleshooting.
- Should be able to work from home without supervision.
Experience:
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in IT or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills are important.
