Job Title: Finance Director

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Summary:

The Finance Director is responsible for the overall financial management of Allahabad UP Gramin Bank. This includes tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing treasury operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Manage treasury operations, including cash management, risk management, and investment management
• Ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
• Oversee the implementation of new financial systems and procedures
• Represent the bank at financial industry conferences and events
• Develop and implement the bank's financial strategy
• Manage the bank's investment portfolio
• Oversee the bank's risk management framework
• Provide financial advice to the CEO and other senior executives

Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with financial reporting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in a finance director role in the banking or financial services industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPA or CFA certification (preferred)
