Job Title: Controller

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Summary:

The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of AU Small Finance Bank. This includes tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing treasury operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
• Manage treasury operations, including cash management, risk management, and investment management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong understanding of financial principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with financial reporting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a controller role in the banking or financial services industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
